How do AeroGardens work?
AeroGardens are designed to help you grow your own herbs, vegetables, salad greens or flowers at home. Our Seed Pod Kits are compatible with every model of AeroGarden. Planting with Seed Pods is fun and easy! Just insert the pre-seeded pods in your garden, add water, and the patented, specially formulated Liquid Nutrients. Most plants germinate within 7-14 days, are ready for harvesting in 4-6 weeks, and will keep producing continuous harvests for up to 6 months and longer. Indoor gardening can’t get any tastier or simpler!
How do I prune Lettuce/Salads?
Lettuce is one of the fastest-growing indoor crops and it's a staple. Who doesn't love to be healthy with delicious home-grown lettuce, or add a fresh leaf of romaine on their sandwich, or a salad of tasty arugula? And with AeroGarden, you can enjoy delicious Spring greens all throughout fall and winter! As a general rule, never prune more than ⅓ of any plant at once.
How long will it take my plants to germinate?
Different types of plants take different amounts of time to germinate and grow. In general, we’ve found these germination timeframes to be consistent:
Flowers take about 7-12 days
Salads: 5-8 days
Herbs: 5-15 days
Fruiting vegetables (such as tomatoes and peppers): 7-14 days
If any of your seed pods don’t germinate after 21 days, contact us so we can send out a replacement for you under our 100% germination guarantee.

After each planting, we recommend cleaning and sanitizing your AeroGarden for the best results.

AeroGarden MicroGreens Kit For Harvest Gardens
I have a AeroGarden Harvest System which I have used many times. I got the AeroGarden MicroGreens Kit for my harvest garden and it worked very well with my AeroGarden Kit. It has the irrigation deck, 2 MicroGreens trays, a 4 pack of AeroFelt Media, 2 domes, and the SuperFood MicroGreens Kit. Everything you need to grow your own MicroGreens. It was very easy to do. Not hard at all. It really doesn't take long for your MicroGreens to sprout and start growing. The MicroGreens ate very good for you and is good for my health. I have nothing negative to say about this product and I would highly recommend it. I will be getting more of these MicroGreens kits in the future.

Love!
I absolutely love my aerogarden. We have the counter top one for herbs and the farm one for lettuce, tomatoes, etc. I have no green thumb and no patience to deal with the heat and the bugs that an outdoor garden would entail. Aerogarden really is gardening for dummies...my app tells me when I need to add water or a couple of capfuls of nutrients and then I sit back and delight at watching my garden grow! And the microgreens kit is amazing! You use it on top of the herb garden as an attachment and in no time at all (like just a couple of days) you have fresh microgreens to trim and add to salads, cooking, etc. A must have device:)

Love MicroGreens
This is a great addition to my beloved AeroGarden. This kit includes a tray, irrigation deck, aero felt, domes and a large packet of seeds. You place 2 tsp of seeds per each tray side on the felt. The seeds in my kit, the micro greens super food mix includes broccoli, purple kohirabi, arugula, Tokyo bekana Chinese cabbage, red cabbage and red Russian kale. The seeds are all mixed together so you don't know exactly what is growing until it sprouts. My family loves growing our own food and the kids love making sure the water and plant food levels are good daily. Healthy food for your smoothies and meals at your fingertips!

This thing is SO COOL.
Growing things is pretty easy in an AeroGarden anyway, but the micro greens really are something else. Basically you plop the MicroGreens deck onto your Garden, put the grow media mats down, spread out the appropriate amount of seeds, cover the trays with their respective lids, and leave them be! They start to sprout right away (like 2-3 days) and then they just shoot up after that! Granted, you can only use the mats once since the roots grow into them, but honestly it's a super easy process and you've got greens that are good to harvest for several days. I can't wait to try some of the other varieties!

Great way to have success at microgreens!
Finally success at microgreens! I have tried sprouting trays that I had to rinse twice a day, special trays with a mat that I had to spray and rinse twice a day, and always failed (mold, wilting, drying out, inconsistent growth, etc.). Not to mention that the microgreens did not smell very nice after a couple of days. This system is great - it keeps the greens watered, and the water moves, and no smell at all (other than the plants themselves). So happy to now be able to enjoy the benefits of microgreens! (Now if only there was a Farm XL sized one for an entire tray of wheatgrass!)

My Favorite Kit
I am thoroughly impressed with the Aerogarden, it has made growing my herbs needed for cooking much easier to manage and grow. I have never had any green thumb luck in growing or keeping any plant alive so this has helped tremendously. I recently tried the harvest microgreens kit which is compatible with my specific model and the set up was super easy. The microgreens grow 5x faster and yields a high output in about 7 days, I have mainly used my microgreens for smoothies so I am regularly growing these type of herbs. You are able to rotate two varieties of microgreens at once for a constant supply. The LED lights are powerful grow lights which is supposed to make the greens much more nutritious. The kits are a bit on the pricey side especially if you go through them regularly, you do however get 6 pods in each kit and they are definitely worth the price and the quality is amazing. Highly recommended.

Very happy with purchase
I failed the first try. I did not read instructions and kept the light the lowest position and kept dome too long. Everything got rotten and water went bad. I gave 2nd try and voila! I cut one buy one with my hand when I want snack. I recommend to put only 1 TBSP not 2. One spoon is enough.

Great Kit!
This is a nice kit for use with Aerogardens. It comes with pretty much everything you need to grow the microgreens including a large pack of Microgreen seeds, an irrigation deck, 2 microgreen trays, aerofelt media (for germinating the seeds), and 2 domes to cover the trays. I love how easy these are to setup and use, really nothing to it. The microgreens were awesome and I was able to pick them in just a few days after starting the seeds, great in a fresh salad! I have 2 Aerogardens in my house and these worked great with my AeroGarden Harvest model, perfect fit and was able to pretty much just drop in the pods and get going. My second older aerogarden though has a little different shape, so the pods didn't fit exactly right. Really great kit, just check compatibility first!
