How do AeroGardens work?
AeroGardens are designed to help you grow your own herbs, vegetables, salad greens or flowers at home. Our Seed Pod Kits are compatible with every model of AeroGarden. Planting with Seed Pods is fun and easy! Just insert the pre-seeded pods in your garden, add water, and the patented, specially formulated Liquid Nutrients. Most plants germinate within 7-14 days, are ready for harvesting in 4-6 weeks, and will keep producing continuous harvests for up to 6 months and longer. Indoor gardening can’t get any tastier or simpler!
How do I prune Lettuce/Salads?
Lettuce is one of the fastest-growing indoor crops and it's a staple. Who doesn't love to be healthy with delicious home-grown lettuce, or add a fresh leaf of romaine on their sandwich, or a salad of tasty arugula? And with AeroGarden, you can enjoy delicious Spring greens all throughout fall and winter! As a general rule, never prune more than ⅓ of any plant at once.
How long will it take my plants to germinate?
Different types of plants take different amounts of time to germinate and grow. In general, we’ve found these germination timeframes to be consistent:
- Flowers take about 7-12 days
- Salads: 5-8 days
- Herbs: 5-15 days
- Fruiting vegetables (such as tomatoes and peppers): 7-14 days
If any of your seed pods don’t germinate after 21 days, contact us so we can send out a replacement for you under our 100% germination guarantee.
How do I clean my AeroGarden before starting a new garden?
After each planting, we recommend cleaning and sanitizing your AeroGarden for the best results.

Perfect to free up space
The AeroGarden Bamboo garden wall shelf is just what I needed to free up space to hold my AeroGarden. Living in the Midwest I want to have fresh available herbs and vegetables year round and now I can add multiple units to be able to do so. The shelf is perfectly spaced to fit 3 separate units . It also conveniently keeps them out-of-the-way since I don’t have much counterspace to put them on . The shelf is well made and sturdy. Fits perfectly without too much space sticking out from against a wall . Easy to reach each garden on every shelf and it has enough space in between for each one to grow. This is a Definite must buy to go with your AeroGardens.

Nice display shelf
This is a very nice shelf to display you AeroGardens. I love it. I was easy to assemble and is only 19 1/2" wide so easy to find a place to put it. I currently only have 1 garden so I chose to put it on the middle shelf (there are 3) and it fit nicely with the grow light extended. I chose to use the other shelves at this time to display other items until I get another garden.
It does have 2 anchor hooks on the top of side pieces but where I put it could not find a suitable way to anchor it. I put a 1/2" board under front 2 legs only and it made it so much sturdier in the spot I placed it since it then leaned against the wall. (Mine is sitting on super thick carpet)

Looks Great
I love this bamboo garden wall shelf! Bamboo is one of my favorite materials, it's sustainable and grows quickly which is great for the environment. This shelf has great directions, it was easy to put together, the kids helped! I love how spaced out each shelf is, perfect for my aerogarden in the middle and other plants on the top and bottom. Plenty of room for the aerogarden to be on the highest roof setting for larger plants it grows like basil and tomatoes. There are holes on the top for it to easily mount to the wall which is a wonderful safety feature.

Great for Shorter Plants / Consider a Light Screen
The assembly instructions are minimal, but it was no problem to assemble if you enjoy puzzles. I would recommend placing in an out-of-the-way corner for safety. 4 stars for being light-weight. I found the combined lights from a Bounty, a Harvest, and 2 Sprouts placed on the shelf to be excruciatingly bright. So I purchased a light-weight, 3-panel black rattan screen to diminish the light, and it works great!

Bamboo wall shelf and the restpurchases
I love my Bannon Garden Wall Shelves. I bought 3 & need one more, but then they were out of stock. Still waiting. I haven't had any BAD experiences with AeroGarden, and the very few hiccups I have run across have been promptly and professionally dealt with. One might not think so, but being able to have these gardens has been so helpful. I have PTSD and they are very therapeutic when my anxiety hits. Peaceful and pleasant at every turn gives me something productive and relaxing to turn to.

buyer beware
I purchased three of these to display my AeroGardens after looking online and in local stores for aesthetically pleasing options. When the box finally arrived I assembled the shelves. It took some time, the pieces are predrilled but fiddly, and, one of the bolt receivers was missing to secure the top to the bottom. I hope AG will send me a part to make my shelf sturdy. Once I got the garden together I placed my Bounty on the bottom , Harvest touch in the middle and slim on top, similar to the product description page. But my bounty is limited to extending only 18” vs. the full 24” available. I am disappointed. I contacted AG and they are trying to make it right, but buyer beware. If you intend to use a bounty on the lower shelf you will not be able to fully extend it unless you modify the unit.
Once the time is taken for assembly, the prospect of disassembling and returning is daunting and probably near impossible. Pros are it is minimally packaged, aesthetically pleasing to look at, will hold three gardens.
Cons are that it has QC issues in finishing, assembly, and doesn’t work as the advertisement would imply.
If the distance between shelves was published this would make it much more apparent to consumers that this won’t allow for full light extension on the Bounty

Arrived Broken
The Screw holes are to large for the screw size and the shelves are glued and dowels. The main shelf is missing a dowel and glue and all I need to do to add a scew is to push it into the hole. No Turnng required. Very disapointed as I waited so long for this order to arrive. This was my 50th birthday gift to myself along with 2 new units. I am so disapointed that I cant set up my gardens unit I get a new one or find something else. Very disappointed. I have asked for a full refund as it only arrived today 05/16/2020.

Wobbly and Overpriced
This shelf is getting two stars, rather than one, because it looks very nice and accommodates my Aerogardens well. It is not getting five stars because it is wobbly (not from uneven floor, but at the joints) to the point that I was, and still am, nervous about using it. If it was priced at $20, I would feel that I got my money’s worth. Rather than purchase a second shelf, which would be a space saver, my extra Aerogarden is on an independent table. This is the ONLY Aerogarden product that I have been dissatisfied with, but I definitely would not recommend or buy this product again.
TLDR: Poor construction, overpriced. Would not recommend.
