How to Use
- Dig a hole slightly larger than the root ball of your plant
- Drop a Quick Start® Planting Tablet in the bottom of the hole and cover with a thin layer of soil
- Set your plant into the hole and gently pack soil around the roots
- Water carefully to moisten the soil around the plant
When To Apply
- When re-planting a transplant or planting a starter plant.
How Often To Apply
- Use every time you transplant or plant a new plant in the ground or into a new container.
Where to Use

Quick Boost for the growing season
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is a great idea to easily fertilize your plants from the get-go. Just drop one tablet into the ground and cover with layer of soil before you plant and your off to the races. For fun, I recently (about 1 week ago) I planted two pansies in a pot side by side. One plant (purple) had the quick start tablet applied, while the yellow plant was not provided the tablet. The directions indicate that the tablet will increase root growth in the first 30 days. Afterward you should feed regularly with miracle-gro plant food. The picture attached shows the purple pansy just one bud above the yellow pansy. Yes, I agree this was not very scientific due to proximity of the plants, but fun to try anyway.

took some time but working now
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the tablets on my winter carryover geraniums. Initially, they were slow to grow or sprout much. It took weeks to really see some significant progress. With daily care, the results are now easy to see, I have strong flowers and bare stems have sprouted buds where I really didn't think anything would grow anymore. I have started using a water soluble fertilizer as well. The tabs are fairly large but the yield has been good.

Expecting Good Things
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We placed a Quick Start Planting Tablet under each of the twenty tomato and bell pepper plants we put in two weeks ago and now they're growing like gangbusters. Nice healthy plants with no wilt or burn-out like sometimes happens with certain other fertilizer planting products. So we're expecting a good yield from our vegetable garden this year thanks to you Scotts. Keep up the good work!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the first Spring following planting flower bulbs using the planting tablets. I've noticed the the flowers & strawberries have arisen quicker than new plants in prior years. That's a great start.
The tablets were very easy to use by simpling putting them into the plant hole at the same taime as the bulb / bareroot.

Easy and Mess Free
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are really easy to use and don't make a mess like liquid or granular fertilizer. I used these little tablets under my Superbells about a month ago and they've doubled in size and have been continuously blooming.

Perfect timing!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the Miracle-Gro® Quick Start® Planting Tablets just in time to get my tomato plants into larger containers. Very easy to use as you simply drop the tablets in and cover with a bit of soil before you set the plant into the hole. Voila! Your plants now have enough nutrients for the first 30 days! I had a few tablets left over so I gave them to a friend who is a novice gardener. Hopefully the success she has will encourage her to to a lot more gardening in the future.

Easy Start For Healthy Plants
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was so easy to use no measuring no mess you just drop a tablet in the hole before you plant and you have happy healthy plants. They looked so good all summer long and I think the difference was the Planting Tablets. The plants had the necessary root system supported by the Planting Tablets.

How to quick start your plants.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Miracle-Gro Quick Start Planting Tablets are so easy to use. I would recommend anyone to use them, even a rookie gardener. All I had to to is drop the tablet in the ground the place the plant in the same whole. Then the plant did its think and the growth was fantastic.
