AeroGardens are designed to help you grow your own herbs, vegetables, salad greens or flowers at home. Our Seed Pod Kits are compatible with every model of AeroGarden. Planting with Seed Pods is fun and easy! Just insert the pre-seeded pods in your garden, add water, and the patented, specially formulated Liquid Nutrients. Most plants germinate within 7-14 days, are ready for harvesting in 4-6 weeks, and will keep producing continuous harvests for up to 6 months and longer. Indoor gardening can’t get any tastier or simpler!
Lettuce is one of the fastest-growing indoor crops and it's a staple. Who doesn't love to be healthy with delicious home-grown lettuce, or add a fresh leaf of romaine on their sandwich, or a salad of tasty arugula? And with AeroGarden, you can enjoy delicious Spring greens all throughout fall and winter!
Different types of plants take different amounts of time to germinate and grow. In general, we’ve found these germination timeframes to be consistent:
- Flowers take about 7-12 days
- Salads: 5-8 days
- Herbs: 5-15 days
- Fruiting vegetables (such as tomatoes and peppers): 7-14 days
If any of your seed pods don’t germinate after 21 days, contact us so we can send out a replacement for you under our 100% germination guarantee.
After each planting, we recommend cleaning and sanitizing your AeroGarden for the best results.

A Great Product!
I bought this product to use with my AeroGrow cherry tomatoes, and it has
worked much better and easier than the plastic system that fastened on the adjustable pole. Since then I have also used it when I planted a new young tree that needed extra support; the ties the nursery had on it to bind it to a pole became too tight within a week, and by replacing them with just a couple of soft ties, my beautiful Japanese Coral Bark Maple is flourishing and growing strong. I would recommend this to anyone looking for an easy alternative like I was.

Easy to use
Easy to use as long as you dont manhandle it too much. if you are rough with this tie then the plastic covering stretches away from the metal that runs through the middle. All in all though, it does a good job

Sometimes you herbs need a little restraint
I used this product to keep my sage and basil from hogging all the light. It kept them in place and didn't cause any damage to the branches.

Definitely need for tomato plants!
Didn't think I would need this with the two trellises I was using for my tomatoes but decided to get some while it were on sale. So glad I did! Some of my tomato plants had escaped the trellis when I wasn't looking and were heavily laden with tomatoes. Having this soft tie to anchor them to the trellis saved my 'maters!

Soft Plant Ties
The soft ties seemed a bit bulky for my delicate herbs but they worked fine. I used them with bamboo skewers to hold up the young plants.

Nice way to train plants
Have not used this in an Aerogarden, but works great for what it is intended for. There is plenty on the roll to last quite a while, you don't need much just one wrap at a time, and it does not cut into plants. Overall good product
