How do I prune Lettuce/Salads?
Lettuce is one of the fastest-growing indoor crops and it's a staple. Who doesn't love to be healthy with delicious home-grown lettuce, or add a fresh leaf of romaine on their sandwich, or a salad of tasty arugula? And with AeroGarden, you can enjoy delicious Spring greens all throughout fall and winter!
How do AeroGardens work?
AeroGardens are designed to help you grow your own herbs, vegetables, salad greens or flowers at home. Our Seed Pod Kits are compatible with every model of AeroGarden. Planting with Seed Pods is fun and easy! Just insert the pre-seeded pods in your garden, add water, and the patented, specially formulated Liquid Nutrients. Most plants germinate within 7-14 days, are ready for harvesting in 4-6 weeks, and will keep producing continuous harvests for up to 6 months and longer. Indoor gardening can’t get any tastier or simpler!
How do I use the Grow Bowl (for Bounty Classic/Ultra/Extra)?
The Grow Bowl replaces the Grow Deck of your AeroGarden Ultra/Ultra LED/Bounty Classic/Bounty Elite Classic. The Grow Bowl is then filled with a “soil-less” Grow Media (we recommend chunk coconut fiber). Live plants such as strawberry crowns, bonsai, dwarf fruit, mini roses, and orchids are planted in the media. The customizable pump on your AeroGarden will activate at the programmed intervals to fill the Grow Bowl, watering the plants, and moistening the grow Media. After the watering cycle, the pump shuts off and the Grow Bowl drains, pulling oxygen into the media. This is ideal for plants, like strawberries and orchids, that love drier, well-drained soils.
How do I connect to WiFi?
You can connect your AeroGarden Bounty or Farm models to your wireless network and utilize the features on your garden when you’re not home, or simply in the other room. When connected to your wireless network, you can adjust your light timer, check the water level, and reset the plant food timer with the AeroGarden app.
- To connect to your WiFi, tap on the WiFi Icon on the garden.
- You will get the prompt to search for networks, select your network name (do not use the 5 Ghz network).
- Click next, then enter the password for your network. Be sure to include any capital letters or symbols that may be in your password.
- Tap “OK” and the garden will attempt to make the connection. If successful, you will get a message to get the scan code, which is used to link your AeroGarden to the app.

Fresh Herbs and Veggies and so easy
I got the AeroGarden Bounty Elite Because i wanted to grow some fresh Herbs and Veggies with my three boys but the weather here is getting kind of cold to do that so when i came across this and it can be done indoors i was like great. But i lack a green thumb so didnt know how well it would go for us .The digital display is also nice. It shows the number of days to the next feeding. we pl;anted the 9 pods and within a few days they actually started to sprout my kids were so happy they love to watch the progress of there little plants growing

Love it!!
I got the Bounty Elite Aero Garden a few weeks ago, and I love it!! It was super easy to set up, and after having it for about three weeks my plants were about two inches high!! I love to be able to grow herbs indoors all year round, and it uses very little electricity. The water reservoir is great and stores enough water for quite awhile! Easily connected to Wi-fi by downloading an app.I can't say enough about this awesome herb garden, It is a must have for everyone who loves fresh herbs all year long!!

Customer service policy very complicated
I bought this unit couple of week ago, LED light never work since day one. The only way to contact them is by email, I contact them try to get part exchanged, no reply. On second email I wrote I think if no one contact me back I would send it back. Then I read their return policy, you still need to contact them! You can’t just send everything back! So I send another email, they ask for picture and everything.
Then I got a reply to send everything again with more documents. I shop online a lot and this is the worst purchase ever. Your unit is clearly not working, why dont you just exchange me a new unit. Save your time and buy from amazon website, their return policy is much better.

An AeroGarden in every home should be mandated!
Absolutely love the Bounty Elite AeroGarden. I am growing cherry tomatoes and the blossoms are all over and just beginning to show a few tomatoes in the early stages. I love the fact that I can connect it to my WIFI. I started out with a smaller AeroGarden, the Harvest, and love that as well. I started my gardens at the beginning of the "stay at home covid19" and love the fact that I can grow my own food. In my opinion, everyone should have an AeroGarden in their home just as they have a stove and refrigerator. The directions are easy to follow and foolproof. This is a great gift for anyone.

Buyer Beware
Water level sensor on mine quit working after a few weeks. It didn’t notify me that it was low, so all of my plants died. I’ve been trying to get in touch with someone at AeroGarden, but it’s impossible. No one answers the phone or responds to emails.

So Simple To Assemble
I just put this together, I followed the instructions on the prompting of the Control Panel which were simple and easy. My pods are herbs which I love to use in my cooking. Well I’m looking forward to the most is being able to use fresh herbs in my Thanksgiving and Christmas meals. It is very eye appealing also. And what’s nice about herbs if you can cut them and dry them and keep growing them.

Plant height in comparison to the Harvest Elite
Our Bounty Elite is the third Aerogarden we’ve purchased. It came with the greens, which flourished! However, use this unite for your taller vegetables, for we had to put the cherry tomatoes and peppers from the Harvest Elite into the Bounty Elite because of its higher light adjustment. And the greens are doing very well in the Harvest Elite. The Bounty Elite is by far a better unite between the two!!! It has a larger water reservoir which reduces the need to fill those thirsty plants! We plan to purchase another one, or the Farm versions.

So exciting to see sprouts grow!
Our little indoor garden has been the highlight of the past 2 weeks sheltering-in-place with 2 young children. Since it's been installed, each family member chose at least 2 plants to grow. We ended up planting dinosaur kale, collard greens, cherry tomatoes, bokchoy, and a couple of lettuces. Within 2 days, the bokchoy sprouts came up and 2 weeks later, all pods have sprouted and are looking very healthy. My kids check on their sprouts first thing in the morning and before bedtime. AeroGarden has literally shortened all aspects of the farm-to-table dining experience. It's really been quite a wonderful addition to our home, and we can't wait for our first harvest!

When it grows, it really grows
I bought this for myself to have fresh herbs without dealing with the oppressive south Texas heat. Out of the 9 pods, only 4 sprouted (3 exploded well over 12 inches in a month's time). Sadly one of unsprouted was the Thai Basil which is a personal favorite. It's incredibly easy to set up (5 minutes) and the wifi link on the app works well. Downside of linking the app though is a daily notification asking you to buy something else. Taste wise, you'd never know the different between hydroponic or traditionally ground grown. Cleaning is very easy and maintenance is maybe 2 minutes a week. If you prune instead of harvest you'll see a continuous supply of fresh herbs.

Automated light and water pump lasted <2 years
After less than 2 years the screen failed. The screen (and the board the controls it) are directly below where you pour water into the unit. So water does spill and get on the screen and seeps onto the board below. No water protection on the board. No seal between the screen and the board, so water gets on the board and damages it, leading to the eventual failure of the unit's electronics while the actual light and pump which are what this unit is for, continue to work fine. However, for me the side effect is the touchscreen keeps sending signals to the unit, as if its being touched, and every touch produces a beep. So the unit beeps constantly, which is untenable.
I paid almost $400 for an automated light and water pump that lasted less than 2 years.

Expect to replace your units every couple years
I am a long time arrow garden customer. Unfortunately, my THIRD aero garden recently bit the dust. Because these gardens only have a one-year warranty, customer service expects you to buy up - which I have done twice now. But hey...they give you a WHOPPING offers 10% off to get that new one! I’m just done. It is not realistic to expect customers to budget literally hundreds of dollars per year to keep replacing units.

Best Covid purchase ever!
We purchased the Bounty Elite then immediately came back for the small round one. We lovvvvve it! We mainly grow lettuce but have herbs now as well. They do get quite cramped but it’s a learning curve. Already on our second planting. Many of my friends bought one as they saw its benefits!East peasy! Love love love them!!!

Picked this up for a family Christmas gift and so far we really like it, the kids are amazed at the quick growth we are seeing and this is only the very beginning. Lights are very bright indeed as other reviewers have mentioned, which is a plus for your plants! I wish these were a little more affordable but you do get what you pay for (try to make something in your garage with these features that looks as good as this unit does). All things considered this is a great idea, in a nice and clean package, and everything can be as simple as the instructions or you could go off on a whole line-up of hydroponic nutrients and testers and grow whatever you want, however you want. Not going to pay off as an investment to grow vegetables, but it is a way to grow inside during a Michigan winter, and fun / educational for sure!

Half growing
For us, 2 out of 9 pods didn’t sprout at all. Company sent us replacements, but we haven’t use them yet. We are 28 days into it and about 4 out of 7 are growing nicely but the other 3 just growing very small. Company has NO ONE available to talk to! Only chatting via their website. For the price they’re charging (which we think is expensive) they should have a human being to speak to. It’s a cool idea and exciting to watch every day, but a month into it, it definitely doesn’t look anything like the photos of full and dense plants. Maybe that will happen in time. We hope.

My Favorite Way to Garden
I love my new AeroGarden Bounty Elite and the idea of having fresh garden grown vegetables all year. This system was so simple to set up and it even came with my first 9 Herb pods. After I snapped a few pieces together I was ready to plug in my AeroGarden. Once plugged in all I had to do was follow the on screen prompts such as setting the date and time and what kind of vegetable I was going to grow. After I filled it with water the pods were ready to be set into the AreoGarden. It was that easy. The garden does the rest until my plants start to grow. There is even a vacation mode that can be set in case I am away from my garden for a period of time. When vacation mode is set the system uses less light time, shortening the amount of water used. Making this a truly low maintenance garden. Once my garden has run its course, I can press the quick plant button and it will re start my system so that I can plant new pods. This garden has it all! There are so many functions on the touch screen base. My favorite is the Garden Tips. In case I need a little reminder the tips will help me. There is even a WiFi mode that I was able to connect to my cell phone. After I downloaded the AeroGarden App and connected the garden to my phone I was able to do everything right from my cell phone. The directions are easy to follow and there is even a help section if needed. This system is incredibly easy to operate and does everything for you. If you are looking to have fresh Herbs, Flowers or Vegetables year round then get the AeroGarden Bounty Elite.

Deer Problems No More!
I have tried multiple times to have a small tomato and herb garden in my back yard, but no matter how secure I thought my garden was, the deer always got to my stuff before I did. Now that I have this AeroGarden Bounty Elite, that is a thing of the past! This model has room for up to nine plants. With the LED lighting, no sun is required. No soil is required either... just water. My sprouts came up in just a few days. They are still growing, so I haven’t been able to put anything into a recipe just yet, but the herbs smell amazing so I’m sure they will taste the same!

Love the sunset feature
Very nice line to the redesigned product. Clean looking white finish on top easy to keep clean. The tank can be removed very easy for cleaning. The only thing that needs a little work is the light adjustment. Very stiff and hard to move. I like the usb connector on light so it can be removed easy. Another quality product Thanks

Great, but a few misses too.
I really like the ability to grow 9 pods at a time and the unit appears to work well. This is my 3rd Aerogarden, with my first one bought when the company was brand new!
There are a lot of great improvement with this generation Aerogarden, smarter controls, more options, easier settings changes, etc. But there are some misses too. With all the generations of Aerogardens, the water filling is the best on my original Pro 200. Why make a plastic cut out that can fall in, is not attached. It is almost like the forgot about adding water when designing it. And I feel that the build and materials quality is not as good as it used to be. Seems more cheaply made.
Look, all in all I am pleased with my new garden, but it could be better.

Who has the Green Thumb,,, Me or AeroGarden?
Love my AeroGarden and my plants. They are like family who always get their pictures taken and sent to the rest of the family. :) So proud of them! ha! I have flowers on my beautiful Fairy Tale Eggplant, some small tomatoes forming on my tomato plant and lots more blooms forming. My okra seems right at home with the rest of the gang. Sunburst squash had to be potted but still shares with some of the led light and company of the others. Music seems to make them happy too.

For Inside and Outside, Bounty Elite is Amazing!
I bought this for growing salad mix inside and also for sprouting seeds for the raised bed gardens we have. So all spring I started 50 seeds at a time (for 3 cycles) all growing in garden now. One Bounty Elite grew the cherry tomatoes from Aerogarden and those are doing great. I have cuttings growing in pots, beds, and flats. They taste sweet and are plentiful. Very easy to grow suckers off main plants by rooting in water. My other Bounty a lettuce machine currently and we are eating every other day off it. Thanks Aerogarden for easy gardening.

Best Ever Growing System

Love it! Has not disappointed. Two of my pods didn't work, but most of them have so far! Really fun to watch things grow. I would definitely buy again. Good garden if you don't mind spending the money
I had the the little Sprout and liked it so much I got the bigger one. It's pretty slick and did much better at keeping the roots aerated. I have my big one at work (where I practically live) with flowers in it and had Marigolds and Snapdragons going in no time - and they lasted a long time! The remote functionality and ability to turn on and off the light with my phone was very nice. All around good for making my office a little slice of heaven. The only negative is that the water level gauge stopped working - I think it got stuck to the side with goop and just didn't move. I took the little one home for herbs. I bought the aerator pump for the little one so I'm hoping that helps.

Much improved new model
This is a big improvement over the older Bounty Elite. The trellis is now integrated into the base. This means you don't have to remove it in order to clean, trim roots etc. That was a major issue with the older model. The water pump is now integrated with the top section. Much more efficient, quieter etc. The water level gauge is now toward the back and is less prone to have the roots grow into it. Other improvements are control over light brightness and the new cleaner and modern look. No negatives at all. Go for it.

New method of raising lights. Not good.
You have changed how the lights are raised and lowered. Since I am rather old I could not pull hard enough to raise them. My daughter used all her strength and finally got it raised. Please go back to the original way of gaining height by unsnapping the three catches as the plants grow.

Great but... Ya best pay attention!
I Love it! DO NOT use well water, Hard water!!! Slows most plants growth down drastically! Some seeds wont even germinate, 1/2 mine didnt before I figured it out!
You Have to keep the roots trimmed! They'll get out of control quickly... and somehow block accurate water level readings... which could be Bad if ya dont pay attention! They will suck down a whole tank in 4 to 5 days once grown! So check water level visually... before ya burn up the pump! Check/trim roots weekly at least 1/2 way thru growth cycle!
