Slow-growing and beginner-friendly, dragon tree is a low-maintenance plant that will thrive nearly anywhere in your home (because it’s as tough as a dragon?) (Sorry). You can trim your dragon tree plant to maintain its size or let it grow to add more height to your space.

If the name “dragon tree” wasn’t enough on its own, it is slender and sturdy with long, spiky leaves growing out of the top of a trunk-like stalk. Its versatility means that dragon tree is great as the center of attention, but it also slips neatly into a quiet corner.
