Long-Time User of Great Products
A long-time user of AeroGarden products, although we sometimes "rest" and grow things out-of-doors. We like the choices and have recently purchased a new unit for ourselves and one for a son. These units are easy to use, easy to care for and it is so pleasant to see "green" in December. Our recent trial of grape tomatoes really surprised us. The key is the bumble bee pollen duster.

Salad on the countertop!
These were my first adventure into salad gardening. Only a Marvel of Four Seasons failed to sprout, and it was promptly replaced. Both Marvels are the slowest growers. The Simpson and Deer Tongue were ready to harvest in less than three weeks. My favorite is Red Sails, and I'm reordering a custom mix with several of those. There were a few Deer Tongue seeds in two other pods, so we've had lots of that variety, and it will probably produce the longest. I have learned from experience that some more delicate plants, such as these lettuces, don't care for our tap water; they have preferred distilled water, and that's what they now get. This collection is the place to start to determine which varieties you like best.

Great product. Customer service just average
I have owned this product for only a short period of time but so far it seems to be doing well. Set up was easy and everything sprouted as promised. Unfortunately, my dog got a hold of the paper directions and I wasn`t sure how to manage the plant food. I emailed the company but so far have no answer. (they said it takes three days to respond). I was afraid my plants might suffer if I waited three days so I tried to call the company. I waited on hold for quite awhile and finally hung up because no one was answering. So I`m not sure what will happen next.

Love this pod kit but......
The Heirloom Salad Greens came with my first Harvest. I had no familiarity with the varieties but they all were very yummy and I reordered several times. However, one of the varieties (Marvel of 4 seasons) rarely sprouted and I ended up requesting (and receiving) replacements. After a bit of trial and error, I have switched to kale mix, romaine, salad greens, etc and haven't had as many issues with sprouting and the greens are ALLLLLLL yummy. Customer service is awesome btw, so if you ever have anything that doesn't sprout or otherwise has an issue, don't grumble or fret, just ask them for replacement.

Very pleased
I have two Harvest LED...one for this lettuce and a second with Kale. Have had one giant salad once a week or three small ones mixing the greens. Very tasty, fun and easy to grow.My lettuce got off to a slow start but one it was growing it seemed to shoot up every third day.

As good as advertised.
All the salad greens are growing really well and there is a nice variety. I was able to harvest some with about a month planting and they are just growing like a weed. I will Definitely buy this Salad Greens seed variety pack again.

The best thing ever!
I love this! I love having fresh lettuce on the counter all the time. I will never grow lettuce in dirt again. I have had 100% germination, and this has lasted for 2 months and is still going.

Love this greens variety!!
I have never heard of any of these varieties of salad greens before starting my Aerogardens. I have been a part of the Aerogarden family for over 2 years now (we just expanded and now have the Farm Basic, Bounty and our newest addition is the Farm 24XL) and I must say that I just love these salad greens. In a matter of a couple of weeks of growing you can begin to enjoy these tasty greens. My favorite is the Black Seeded Simpson! When I make fish or shrimp, I just harvest several leaves and they make the best lettuce taco or wrap!

All the lettuce we need!
Great kit! The picture is from 4 weeks in. They really took off after that. It's hard to say how much lettuce it grows because my partner and I snack on it when we are in the kitchen and between us we probably eat a soup bowl full each day. And I make at least 2 salads (half a dinner plate worth) every week. All of the lettuces are very tasty. They germinated faster than expected. I'm trying herbs next but will definitely grow lettuce again in the winter.
Economics: I am in Canada and have a 9 pod Bounty Elite, the red one, which was $400 at Bed Bath and Beyond with a 20% off coupon. The seed kit was $27. A head or small clamshell pack of heirloom lettuce is about $4. The Aerogarden produces 1.5 - 2 of those a week (maybe more -- as I said, we keep snacking!) saving at least $24 to $32 a month. Lettuce is harvestable for about 4 months so the kit pays for itself in a month and I'll probably save another $75 or even $100 on greens over the life of the kit. The Bounty should pay for itself in a little over a year (maybe faster: I haven't calculated the savings on fresh herbs). Sometimes lettuce costs even more here in the winter. We're eating more greens than ever, which is very healthy, and during COVID distancing we have been shopping only once very two weeks, which makes it hard to have very fresh produce always on hand. It's been great having leafy greens that are fresh-picked whenever we want them.
NOTES: I have air conditioning and keep my house cool, and the garden is not near a window. This may help with lettuce, which doesn't like to be too warm.

Good results
The greens harvested from five of the six pods in the the kit have made many excellent salads. Unfortunately, the first Red Sails pod failed to germinate. I had to wait 21 days from planting to file a claim (though there clearly was nothing happening at day 14) and by the time the replacement arrived (32 days) it germinated but is struggling to mature properly due to the shading of the others and raised light placement.

No more slimy lettuce
I can harvest just the right amount of a variety of fresh salad leaves every day. No more trying to find room in the fridge for a giant plastic tub full of lettuce that includes types I don’t like and an amount I can’t finish before it rots. No more washing the slimy leaves off the still-edible leaves until I give up and just throw the whole thing away. No more wondering where my lettuce has been or reading the recall notices about the latest cases of E. coli. Just a perfect serving every day, waiting to be harvested.

The five that I planted in my AeroGarden - all but one are coming up well. The one that is not is the Rouge D'Hiver. Now, I may be a bit spoiled as this is the last lettuce that I grew from you that came with my last salad greens!!!! See attached photo!!!

Not happy
Only one pod grew after 14 days. When I reported this to Aerogarden they said I had to wait for 21 days before I could make a claim. Does this mean I have to run my machine for three weeks with out any food being produced.

Most productive hydroponics system I have operated
I am having fun with my Aerogarden. I started into hydroponics in 1976 inspired by The Land in Disney World and back there again a few years later for Backstage Tour. I most appreciate the study that went into the design and understanding of plant growth. I took the Master Gardener training and managed a large retail garden center, so that and my building and operating my several systems for 45 years. Everything in the AeroGarden system works and plant growth is guaranteed if one follows the simple instructions. The one pod that didn’t sprout was replaced quickly at no cost.

Tender and tasty lettuces
I was amazed - the seeds had germinated in three days and little leaves appeared. Ten days later I was adding leaves to my salads and another week later these lettuces were the base of my daily salad. Tender and tasty - I was very proud of myself! They’ve provided me salads for about six weeks now. Time to reorder!

Frustrated
They dont all grow, the buttons broke fast, keep your receipt. I didnt. Plus they send you one zillion marketing emails and if you ask to unsubscribe they say “ok it will take 60 days.” I love the idea of this garden but it hasn't been easy in any way. That was the whole idea.

Salad Greens
The salad greens grow nicely. After pruning they grow back again. They were slow to start and I had to get replacements for 3 that failed to sprout but that wasn't a big deal. The customer service had me send photos while we spoke. They saw that 3 were growing really nicely but 3 in fact failed. They sent out new ones soon thereafter which sprouted and are growing well. I've had salads already. I am definitely pleased with my Aerogarden.

I'm in Love
I love the look of my garden in my kitchen and enjoy the salad greens taste. The only problem is I have that I have to wait to get enough for a salad. I really don't have room for a bigger garden but if you do I recommend getting a bigger one. I love chicken salad and use my lettuce leaves on a sandwich. If you prefer a crispier variety you should was and dry between paper towels and crisp up in the refrigerator.

So far so good. Of the 6 seed pods, 5 took and are growing well. One did not germinate. They have been growing for less than a month, but they look pretty good.
