Love it
I absolutely love this grow light from Areogarden I absolutely love plants and I love propagating and this light has come in absolutely handy I love that it's lightweight I love that I can just put it in the pot it also has multi light settings and an app that you can download and control from there huge plus I absolutely love that I can use an app to control the different light settings and also is adjustable in height all in all this is the perfect grow light it definitely packs a punch and I have used for multiple propagations and has always given me great results I absolutely love it

Buyer’s remorse
I bought two of these and after working fine for a couple of months one of them started going off and on non stop. I went through the steps to repair and reconnect to no avail so it is useless. In addition there are a couple of design flaws. the little “legs” they have to stick into the pot need to be longer. They have a tendency to be loose and tip because they are so shallow below dirt. The other issue is with the height adjustable post, once you get it to the height you want it does not stay. Any slight movement will cause it to slide back down. Overall, I wish that I had not purchased these.

Houseplants LOVE these lights.
Early this spring I bought a Stem LED light to be able to grow more houseplants in my dark bedroom. I got the stem because it was the least expensive and I wanted to test it out since I've never used LEDs for houseplants. I am so disappointed with myself now for not getting a few more of these or a Trio light. I'm going to get more when I can afford to, because they are working so well. I'm letting two plants share this Stem light until I get another and they are still growing really fast. I picked up some starter plants at our local Hydroponic store. One is a Jade plant (I've never had much luck with them before), and the other is a Goldfish plant. They are both thriving. The Jade has grown two more levels of leaves and the Goldfish is getting many new branches and a bloom already! It's only been 2 1/2 months... so I highly recommend!

Great plant light!
We have tons of house plants and are always looking for a good, reliable light source for those that need it. We try to position our plants around the house so that they are getting the correct amount of sunlight. However, sometimes, especially for the baby plants, more is needed. This light is the perfect solution! You use your own pot and then stick this light in the soil. It looks classy, not industrious. It doesn't stick out or take away from the look of the plant. It's big enough to cover a decent size plant, but isn't bulky.

Weak design
I just got this today
I have other Aero garden items which are great,I'm sure the light aspect will be fine.
But this peice is very weak.the head does not want to stay still,it will not stay in one spot with being perfectly level.There is just not enough friction you might say in the rod and head. Light seems great,but overall design is poor.i would just use on of your Aero grow bulbs I think in the future

Great light
I love this light. It has a 2 leaf prong at the bottom that you stick down into the pot. The arm on the light is adjustable. It fits perfect for my propagation area. You can dim the light or make it brighter.

Grow light works great
This grow light is great for an area that gets no light but you want a plant there. We have an area on our bookshelf that we've wanted to put a plant on but doesn't receive enough natural light. With this light we now have a plant there. I also really like that the timer is built in so it's not something you have to worry about.

Many light settings
I got for my indoor plant that I am not having much luck with. I like the fact that the light has many settings but the brace that the light sets on is very flimsy and the light seems to be to heavy for it. If the light was a lot more stable I would have given it a higher number of star.

Does this work well with African violets?
African violets can be grown under artificial light. The AeroGarden Stem Grow Light contains a 5W bulb. Please check with your plant instructions to see if this is enough for it to thrive and flower.

The Aerogrow stem light has a 5 watt bulb. Watts is a measure of energy, and seedlings need energy. You should be looking for around 25-50 Watts per square foot to start seeds.
