AeroGarden and Echo Spirits have collaborated to bring you a new Echo Spirits Top Shelf Seed Pod Kit featuring six great herbs that will take your cocktails and mocktails to the next level!

The masterminds at Echo Spirits have provided five craft cocktail recipes highlighting the beautiful herbs included in the new cocktail kit. Learn how to make some incredible fresh mixed drinks with help from the expert minds behind Columbus, Ohio's very finest.

5 Creative Cocktail Recipes From Echo Spirits

1. Summer Curls


  • 2 oz Echo Spirits Vodka
  • .5 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
  • .5 oz Lemon Basil + Strawberry Cordial Syrup
  • 1-2 drops Rose Water
  • Prosecco, to top


-Combine all the ingredients, minus the prosecco, in a cocktail shaker set. Add ice and shake lightly.

-Double strain into a flute glass and top with the prosecco. Serve up garnished with a bundle of fresh lemon basil sprigs.

2. Lavender Daiquiri


  • 2 oz Echo Spirits White Rum
  • 1 oz Fresh Lime Juice
  • 1 oz Lavender Simple Syrup
  • 2 dashes Lavender Bitters*


-Combine all the ingredients in a cocktail shaker set. Add ice and shake well. Double strain into a coupe

-Glass or other cocktail glass, served Up. Garnished with dried lavender sprigs.

*This cocktail could also be made with the addition of lavender bitters to heighten the lavender notes.

3. The Fullest Circle


  • 1.5 oz Echo Spirits Vodka, infused with Rosemary
  • .5 oz Campari (or your preferred Aperitif Amaro)
  • .75 oz Fresh Lime Juice
  • 5-6 small, diced Watermelon pieces
  • .5 oz Simple Syrup*
  • (Optional) 2 dashes “5-Spice” Bitters


-Combine all the ingredients, including the fresh watermelon pieces (no need to muddle!) in a Cocktail Shaker set. Add ice and shake vigorously. Double strain into a rock glass, served over a large ice cube.

-Garnished with a thin watermelon slice perched on glass, topped with a fresh rosemary sprig and a sprinkling of sea salt.

*This cocktail could also be made with the substitution of a rosemary simple syrup in place of a rosemary vodka infusion.

4. The Bloody Belgium


  • 2 to 2.5 oz Echo Spirits Genever, infused with Fresh Dill
  • .5 oz Fresh Lime or Lemon Juice
  • 4 to 5 oz Tomato/Vegetable Juice*
  • Additional Desired Garnishes


-Combine all the ingredients in a cocktail shaker set or simply build the cocktail in your preferred glass, and roll or stir the cocktail to your desired consistency. Add ice and shake lightly if using the shaker set.

-Strain into a large volume cocktail glass over fresh ice. Garnish wildly to your heart’s content—but don’t forget the fresh dill bundles! Top with salt and pepper or your favorite dried seasoning.

*Mixologist Derek recommends making use of additional vegetable juice sources beyond just tomato

**Fun additional garnish l options could include pickled items, celery and other fresh garden produce, cured meats and even cheese bites!

***All the magic in creating a truly good Bloody Mary is in the seasoning. Use this recipe as a jumping off point and have fun with it! Horseradish, celery salt, worcheshire sauce, and hot sauce are all great ideas!

5. The Long Paddle


  • 1.5 oz Echo Spirits Pineapple Rum
  • .5 oz Crème de Coco Liqueur
  • .25 oz Cynar
  • 1 oz Coconut Water
  • (Optional) 2-3 dashes Cherry Bark Bitters [Bittercube is a recommended brand]
  • 3-4 Fresh Sage Leaves


-Combine all the ingredients in a stirring glass. Add the fresh Sage leaves and lightly muddle them into the other ingredients. No need to pulverize—you just want to express the delicate oils out. Add ice and stir well.

-Double strain into a cocktail glass over fresh ice. Garnished with toasted coconut and fresh sage leaves.

*Optional special presentation:

  • Build (or even batch!) this cocktail by hollowing out a real coconut shell and leaving a single opening atop the shell
  • Fill the shell with your finalized cocktail
  • Add a pour spout to the opening
  • Refrigerate or serve it straight!
