These toasts are super versatile and can be used as a substitute for a cracker. They can be served with cheese, spreads, soups or salad. They are easy to make and will last for a week or more if properly stored in an airtight container. Every host should have these on hand to put out when you have visitors or just want to serve up a family snack.

INGREDIENTS
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 teaspoons chopped fresh rosemary and thyme
1 garlic clove, minced
Sliced Italian bread
INSTRUCTIONS
Stir oil, rosemary and garlic in small pan over low heat for approx. 2-3 minutes.
Arrange bread slices on baking sheet. Brush with oil herb mixture. Add S&P to taste. Broil until the bread is golden brown. Allow to cool a bit then serve.
