AeroGardens are designed to help you grow your own herbs, vegetables, salad greens or flowers at home. Our Seed Pod Kits are compatible with every model of AeroGarden. Planting with Seed Pods is fun and easy! Just insert the pre-seeded pods in your garden, add water, and the patented, specially formulated Liquid Nutrients. Most plants germinate within 7-14 days, are ready for harvesting in 4-6 weeks, and will keep producing continuous harvests for up to 6 months and longer. Indoor gardening can’t get any tastier or simpler!
Pruning your herbs is important to keep them growing and healthy in your AeroGarden. You can start pruning when the plants are about 2 inches tall. We recommend only pruning about ⅓ of the plant at a time. When growing herbs, keep in mind basil usually sprouts within a week of planting, and grows rapidly. Be sure to prune your basil from the top as needed to keep the grow lights at the lowest position until all the herbs have a chance to catch up. Raising the grow light to accommodate the basil can slow or stop growth for other smaller, slower-growing herbs.
Yes, you can mix different types of plants in your AeroGarden to grow a variety of herbs, salad, veggies, and flowers if you’d like. If you are growing different plant types, it is important to prune the taller and bushier plants as they grow to allow plenty of space and light for the shorter and smaller plants.
After each planting, we recommend cleaning and sanitizing your AeroGarden for the best results.

Easy Build. Anticipation Building!
This was super easy to put together. I love gardening and watching seeds grow to flowers. The kit came with seeds and plant food. Everything fit together into place. I filled the tank up to the fill line. Pods are ready to go with the added lettuce seeds. I took a star off because it took a long time to get the power to turn on. I kept removing and putting cord back in. This went on for 10 minutes. I had to go on youtube. There is no power button. Somehow the lights turned on when I was about to give up. I will add more photos when the plants are growing. This is perfect for anyone who loves gardens and lives in the North part of USA.

This is hands down the best gardening product I’ve ever used in my whole life..
You set up the AeroGarden and attach the led light panel on top, which has different energy lights to help your plants grow, and then; you’re supposed to add the seeds in the soils and put it over the holes in the AeroGarden. I put two cups(with the cap) of liquid plant food that it already comes with. You’re supposed to change the water and clean the greenhouse every two/three weeks, pretty much every time the plants need the plant food!!
It’s so functional, easy to use, practical, and super simple!! I would recommend it to anyone who wants to start gardening, especially to have a healthy lifestyle with the plants/veggies you grow!!

Simple, compact and it's going to be a fave family activity.
The Harvest 2.0 is now going to be a fun bonding and educational activity for me to do with my kids! It was simple to assemble and doesn't require much attention aside from adding water or plant food occasionally. I was able to put it together and my 2 and 4 year olds helped get our first plants started without much difficulty aside from chubby toddler fingers struggling to pick up small seeds and successfully drop them into the planters. It's been about a week and we e already got lettuce sprouting up! I can't wait to see what else we can grow together!

Amazing experience
The Aerogarden is so amazing! I raise food plants outdoors, and I have been curious about hydroponic growing.
First of all, setup is a breeze. The light has a timer, and the timer was easy to set and it comes on and goes off automatically. It has a low water indicator so you don't run dry. And there is a reminder to add the liquid fertilizer.
The light is easy to adjust when the plants get tall. And it all comes apart easily for cleaning between crops. This can be used for many different kinds of plants. My lettuce is growing great, and my spinach (that I just got seeds for) is sprouting. Would recommend this for easy indoor gardening.

Very cool product for plant lovers!
As a developing home chef and a lover of all things fresh, i knew receiving this product was going to be an immediate game changer!! I started out with filling 2 pods with the lettuce seeds provided— this is definitely a produce item that I hate buying as it goes bad so fast. Being able to grow it fresh without needing an outdoor all season garden is huge for me, as I love fresh healthy foods but live in the northeast where it can get quite dreary! The Harvest 2.0 can be put anywhere according to the instruction, so I opted to put it next to my other low light plants where I can check it frequently and watch it grow! I’m super excited to try out herbs and tomatoes too, the instructions left me very confident in my growing abilities, I’m expect fresh lettuce in just a few weeks! I recommend using the QR code on the instruction manual as they make the steps much clearer.

Great indoor garden kit
This indoor garden kit is a great help when you live in a cold climate and want to grow fresh herbs during the winter. It costs $15 per pound. Setting it up is very easy - just fill the reservoir with water, add a couple of caps of the provided nutrients, and drop the pods in. Keep the plastic domes on the pods to provide a humid environment for the plants to grow. There is a pump in the base that pushes water up the tube and dribbles it out of the six ends, down the sides of the faux dirt in the pods. Once plugged in, the lights will turn on and off automatically. We started with the lettuce seeds pack provided, and they all germinated after two days. By day four, we could see little leaves coming up. My kid loves growing them and checks on them several times a day. I can’t wait to harvest them and see how they taste. We plan to buy herbs from the store and propagate them using this kit.

Why do all of the reviews say they received the free product? Anyone review it without receiving it for free?
I was given an aerogarden as a gift from my husband 3 years ago and purchased another one myself 6 months after that. I love growing tomatoes and herbs in my aerogarden. They are very easy to grow and there is nothing like having fresh tomatoes in the middle of winter. I grow basil and cilantro in my second aerogarden. Easy to set up, simple to clean and looks great on the kitchen window sill. Try it, you will be happy with the results.

Where can I find a complete list of seed pods?
From another AeroGardener: You can find all the seed pods that AeroGarden sells at www.AeroGarden.com. If you’re buying a new garden and it doesn’t offer the seeds you want, you might try calling to see if they will substitute for you. They did for me in the past. You can also buy a grow anything kit from AeroGarden or elsewhere, and buy your own seeds elsewhere. This works well if you want several plants of the same kind, and you are sure what you want, so you’re not wasting money buying several packets of seeds if you don’t think you’ll use that many. I like to try new plants using AeroGarden pods.

There is an indicator to add water but how do you know when to add food?
For setting light start time, turning lights on and off, and reset plant food timer you use the leaf button on top of grow light hood. To set light (and pump) turn on time, at the time you want lights to turn on press and hold down leaf "button" until the plant food add light flashes red. Food time starts when garden is first plugged in at set up. The Light on top of the grow light hood (Plant Food add light) will flash red at 14 days after initial plug in, and continue to flash until it is reset. To reset the plant food timer, press and hold the leaf button on top of grow light hood until it pulses (this is a fast pulse compared to the flash with the light timer set or indicating food needing added).
Once reset, the plant food add light will remain off for another 14 days, then will begin to flash again.

Why are the plastic grow domes no longer needed for the seeds to germinate in the Harvest 2.0?
The grow domes are designed to protect small fragile seedlings. Since the spacing of the Seed Starting trays puts young seedlings so close together, we have found that using the Grow Domes may actually disturb them more than help them. And don't worry, your plants will get all the humidity they need from the water bowl below. We're reducing plastic while providing the same great growing experience!
