AeroGardens are designed to help you grow your own herbs, vegetables, salad greens or flowers at home. Our Seed Pod Kits are compatible with every model of AeroGarden. Planting with Seed Pods is fun and easy! Just insert the pre-seeded pods in your garden, add water, and the patented, specially formulated Liquid Nutrients. Most plants germinate within 7-14 days, are ready for harvesting in 4-6 weeks, and will keep producing continuous harvests for up to 6 months and longer. Indoor gardening can’t get any tastier or simpler!
Pruning your herbs is important to keep them growing and healthy in your AeroGarden. You can start pruning when the plants are about 2 inches tall. We recommend only pruning about ⅓ of the plant at a time. When growing herbs, keep in mind basil usually sprouts within a week of planting, and grows rapidly. Be sure to prune your basil from the top as needed to keep the grow lights at the lowest position until all the herbs have a chance to catch up. Raising the grow light to accommodate the basil can slow or stop growth for other smaller, slower-growing herbs.
Yes, you can mix different types of plants in your AeroGarden to grow a variety of herbs, salad, veggies, and flowers if you’d like. If you are growing different plant types, it is important to prune the taller and bushier plants as they grow to allow plenty of space and light for the shorter and smaller plants.
After each planting, we recommend cleaning and sanitizing your AeroGarden for the best results.

Easy Build. Anticipation Building!
This was super easy to put together. I love gardening and watching seeds grow to flowers. The kit came with seeds and plant food. Everything fit together into place. I filled the tank up to the fill line. Pods are ready to go with the added lettuce seeds. I took a star off because it took a long time to get the power to turn on. I kept removing and putting cord back in. This went on for 10 minutes. I had to go on youtube. There is no power button. Somehow the lights turned on when I was about to give up. I will add more photos when the plants are growing. This is perfect for anyone who loves gardens and lives in the North part of USA.

Amazing experience
The Aerogarden is so amazing! I raise food plants outdoors, and I have been curious about hydroponic growing.
First of all, setup is a breeze. The light has a timer, and the timer was easy to set and it comes on and goes off automatically. It has a low water indicator so you don't run dry. And there is a reminder to add the liquid fertilizer.
The light is easy to adjust when the plants get tall. And it all comes apart easily for cleaning between crops. This can be used for many different kinds of plants. My lettuce is growing great, and my spinach (that I just got seeds for) is sprouting. Would recommend this for easy indoor gardening.

This is hands down the best gardening product I’ve ever used in my whole life..
You set up the AeroGarden and attach the led light panel on top, which has different energy lights to help your plants grow, and then; you’re supposed to add the seeds in the soils and put it over the holes in the AeroGarden. I put two cups(with the cap) of liquid plant food that it already comes with. You’re supposed to change the water and clean the greenhouse every two/three weeks, pretty much every time the plants need the plant food!!
It’s so functional, easy to use, practical, and super simple!! I would recommend it to anyone who wants to start gardening, especially to have a healthy lifestyle with the plants/veggies you grow!!

Works great once it's set up properly!
The first product I received was damaged in shipping and the light hood never functioned. Aerogarden shipped me a new product. I had already planted the other pods (not knowing the light hood was damaged) so I stuck the damaged Aerogarden in my window so they got direct sunlight instead. I was pleased to see the plants grow quickly, even without the hood, so I could tell this product would work great once I had my replacement. Sure enough, my replacement Aerogarden arrived in perfect working order. I am super excited to use it to its full capacity! Definitely recommend.

Perfect Table Top Greenthumb Companion
This is my progress only after 10 days and I am amazed on how fast and easy it is to grow my own vegetables with this device. It's really easy to use and setup. You just need to follow the instructions on the manual and you're good to go. I love that it is has an programmed timer to automatically shut down the lights and pump. I love the look, it's so simple and minimalist. This is perfect for people who don't have much space or enough adequate sunlight to grow their own plants quickly indoors. This device is expensive but you can grow a variety of plants with this thing. Definitely recommended!

Mine was shipped without a power cord, so I emailed the company and they shipped me a whole new Aerogarden, no questions asked. Excellent customer service! I like that it’s all black and very minimalist and modern. There are no buttons so it looks very sleek on my kitchen counter. I’m using it to grow multiple herbs, although none have sprouted yet. Figuring out how to do the seed planting was confusing. There is no video on the website to walk you through it, and the paper instructions don’t have any pictures, so I found it very hard to follow. For that I give this 4.5/5 stars

Awful
I was really happy when I got this. It disappointed me with all of it. I’ve emailed several times and used the chat on website with no answers. I can not find the on button anywhere. I can’t find a phone number to call. I have looked at the manual but that didn’t help. I’ve searched and searched to find this out. There are no buttons. I’m just unhappy with all of it.

We do not have a product list or catalog, however you can locate all available seed pod kits on our website. If looking for specific pods for custom kits, you will need to select the variety of custom kit you prefer, then select the size of kit you want, and scroll down a bit on the page and you will see a list of available seed pods for that specific variety (herb, salad, veggie). There is an indicator to add water but how do you know when to add food?
For setting light start time, turning lights on and off, and reset plant food timer you use the leaf button on top of grow light hood. To set light (and pump) turn on time, at the time you want lights to turn on press and hold down leaf "button" until the plant food add light flashes red. Food time starts when garden is first plugged in at set up. The Light on top of the grow light hood (Plant Food add light) will flash red at 14 days after initial plug in, and continue to flash until it is reset. To reset the plant food timer, press and hold the leaf button on top of grow light hood until it pulses (this is a fast pulse compared to the flash with the light timer set or indicating food needing added).
Once reset, the plant food add light will remain off for another 14 days, then will begin to flash again.

Why are the plastic grow domes no longer needed for the seeds to germinate in the Harvest 2.0?
The grow domes are designed to protect small fragile seedlings. Since the spacing of the Seed Starting trays puts young seedlings so close together, we have found that using the Grow Domes may actually disturb them more than help them. And don't worry, your plants will get all the humidity they need from the water bowl below. We're reducing plastic while providing the same great growing experience!

What is the difference between harvest, harvest 2.0 and harvest elite?
The Harvest 2.0 has a darker grow deck to help prevent algae growth as well as a simpler 1 button control. The Harvest Elite has a digital display and is available in Stainless Steel and Platinum colors.
