Chives grow wonderfully in AeroGardens, with just a little special attention. Chives are slow germinators and also grow slowly, at first. Sometimes, this means that neighboring plants will encroach, "stealing" the light chives need to thrive. Trim back surrounding plants to make sure chives receive full light. And always keep your light hood on the lowest setting until chives have started to thrive. Raising the light for fast-growing basil or dill will starve your chives of light and keep them from thriving.
