Lemon mint - not for your mojito
A robust herb with many uses!
It's a member of the mint family but not at all minty; the flavor and aroma of the leaves has been described as lemony or citrusy, but some folks say it's something closer to thyme. Steeping the leaves in off-the-boil water gives you a very refreshing tea, and the leaves can be thrown into a green salad or into a saute pan to season chicken or fish. Lemon mint's robust growth will give you lots of leaves to use in different ways, and you will likely find that it's a keeper!
