Indoor Gardening in Smaller Spaces

Indoor gardening has always been a popular choice by those who live in limited spaces and unsurprisingly, it became one of the hottest trends of 2020, especially while people were generally stuck at home. Showing no signs of subsiding this year, people now know that growing indoors does not have to take up a large amount of space, is easy and satisfying, and all it takes is owning an AeroGarden!

Before we break down the different sizes of AeroGardens and how they best fit in your home, let's take a look at the benefits of owning an AeroGarden and growing your own plants indoors.

  1. You are able to grow fresh vegetables, herbs and flowers all year round, no matter the weather outside.
  2. Growing your own food means no unhealthy pesticides or unnecessary packaging.
  3. Requires minimal physical effort. No need for the backbreaking work required for outdoor gardening.
  4. Great for your mental health. Gardening brings a feeling of connection and empowerment, as well as a sense of pride.
  5. The LED lights used in the AeroGardens may help with seasonal affective disorder.
  6. Plants grown in the AeroGarden grow 3x faster than in traditional soil, which means more harvests, and more variety throughout the year.
  7. Requires minimal space!

Now that we have convinced you to start an Indoor Garden, let's take a look at each of our AeroGardens and why they might be the right size for you.

Sprout

The AeroGarden Sprout is our smallest garden, with the ability to plant 3-pods at once. At 10.5″ Tall, 12” Deep, and 3.5” Wide, the AeroGarden sprout is perfect for someone with very limited space. Compact in size, the Sprout can fit under any countertop or nook and cranny.

It has now been almost 11 weeks since I first got this, and I ate my first tomato yesterday! I love having fresh tomatoes growing in my tiny apartment!

Harvest Family

Unlike the sprout, with the Harvest you have some variety. First, you can choose from the Basic or the Elite family, the major difference being the control panels. The Basic Harvest has a simplified 3 button control panel, whereas the Harvest Elite has an LED customizable control panel. The Harvest family also comes in three different shapes, making it easy for you to pick one that best fits in your space. Square, slim, or round, they are all going to fit great under countertops, on shelves or mantels, or on any available surface. The Harvest can grow 6 pods at once, comes in at a max of 12” Tall, and bonus, has some great color options.

Customer Review:

I love my AeroGarden. It was easy to set up, very low maintenance and does not take up much space. Growing herbs has never been so simple. It was as easy as putting it together, adding water, turning it on and you are growing in minutes!! It’s GREAT.

Bounty Family

The Bounty AeroGardens are our largest countertop garden models. Although compact in size coming in at 17.25” wide and 11.25” deep, the height can reach 35” max!  In any of the Bounty AeroGardens, you are able to grow 9 plants at once. There are 4 tiers to choose from, starting at the Bounty Basic, Bounty, Bounty Elite, and Bounty Artisan. All will give you the same growing experience, but each level has more bells and whistles than the last. If you have a little more room to spare, growing in a Bounty will be nothing short of satisfying.

An AeroGarden in every home should be mandated!

Absolutely love the Bounty Elite AeroGarden. I started out with a smaller AeroGarden, the Harvest, at the beginning of the “stay at home covid19” and love the fact that I can grow my own food. In my opinion, everyone should have an AeroGarden in their home just as they have a stove and refrigerator. The directions are easy to follow and foolproof.
