How do you stack Farms?
The AeroGarden Farm Stacking System is a must-have for stacking your Farm 12 or Farm 24 model, including the Farm, Farm Plus or Farm XL. The kit allows you to create a beautiful living wall. Upward and onward! This accessory allows you to grow vertically, safely. Brackets securely attach to the wall to ensure that your gardens are stable and will stay in place. This stacking kit comes in black or white to attractively attach two AeroGarden Farm models vertically. Create your own vertical garden stack or chain of lush, full gardens that become the centerpiece of a room.
What is the trellis for?
The trellis is an accessory that helps support medium and tall plants, such as tomatoes, peppers, and eggplant. Help your plants grow taller by supporting them before they develop heavy fruit. We have trellis systems available for Bounty and Farm models. For smaller gardens, like the Sprout and Harvest, try bamboo sticks, chopsticks or our Soft Ties to support your plants. Stick them down inside the grow pods next to the stem. Plants will grow up leaning into them or you can tie gently to the support. Early support can keep plants from collapsing under the weight of the fruit (tragic if it happens just before harvest).
How do I prune Tomatoes/Peppers?
Fruiting vegetables, like tomatoes, peppers, and Fairy Tale eggplants, do require a little more attention and care than herbs, flowers, and salads.
Can you transplant AeroGarden plants?
Yes, AeroGarden plants can be transplanted into soil.

No more bland store bought veggies
I recently received the Aerogarden - Farm 12XL. The first thing that I noticed is it's compact design; this is important to me die to lack of space in my house. It doesn't require any dirt, has a built-in lighting system, and can be operated using Alexa or a WiFi connection! It can grow up to twelve plants five times faster than the regular method. I'm growing tomatoes, basil, and lettuce to start. Set up is so easy and I love the touch screen panel. It also gives you reminders for watering your plants and the light is electronically adjustable. What's not to love? Can't wait to eat garden fresh veggies in the winter. Great system.

broke in a month, customer service won’t respond
I was so excited. Love my harvest and bounty so decided to drop the extra money and get the farm. It was good for a month. We were hit by hurricane Ida, possibly a power surge, I don’t know. We lost power for almost 2 weeks. When it came back, farm will not turn on, at all. Of course other appliances work in same outlet, tried multiple outlets, it’s dead, entirely. Customer service told me to turn it on basically, and then disappeared. This is ridiculous for what was paid. I mean, if this one worked, I would have ended up buying several of the larger farm models hands down. I’m so disappointed.

It works great, until it doesn't.
I bought this a little over a year ago and up until a week ago it worked amazingly. Then I went to check my plants and the display was black with no lights. I have tried multiple known working outlets and it is still dead. Unplugged all of the cables and plugged back in and same thing. This unit was sitting in my basement with no kids, or anyone messing with it. It just quit working by itself. I ha e reached out to customer service multiple times and no response. I know my unit is out of the 1 year warranty now, but you would think with the price of these, it should last more than just outside of the warranty period.

Farm up & growing light.
I love this Aerogarden Farm 12 XL. I can grow herbs through the Winter and have some fresh veggies grow as well. Loving the adjustability to the product. Comes with LED grow lights. Has a free download able app to go with this item. Has a touch screen control panel on the top of the equipment. Comes with a quick set up after you spend time putting it together. Took about 35 minutes to put it all together. I highly suggest read the manual. I love all the options this grow indoor garden equipment provides. This is a pretty big size. It has to sit on a floor because it is tall. Not table/counter top.

Farm 12xl broke, cannot be repaired, unacceptable
Super disappointed with aerogarden.
I bought my unit in June 2021 and had success growing, in particular salads. I also have a smaller one for herbs.
Unfortunately it broke and does not turn on anymore. Since it is out of the 1 year warranty I hoped for a repair service.
Customer service told me that there are no repairs. Instead I can purchase a new product at a discount.
As it turns out the discount is not any better than regular promotions.
More important:
For a company that grows on sustainability themes, this is unacceptable.
Green live is not just about energy consumption, it is also about designing products that can be repaired. Sustainability should not only be used as a marketing strategy, it should be present in every part of a business like yours, that includes product design and its supply chain.

Problems with Aerogarden product
Very disappointed for a variety of reasons! No phone support currently. The email support not easy- different staff say to do different procedures! Trouble with BUGS! I have the FARM12 XL POD and with ONLY 3 plants it seems too crowded. Site says 4-6 week harvest...NOT TRUE!! I was told important to trim tomatoes, the way they told me to trim cut off future flowers. NO YIELD , now at 60 days for peppers or tomatoes!! SO that just can't be. Have done all expected- even rinsing basin, cleaning all parts etc. Roots look healthy but yield has a long way to go. I feel very misled!!! Return policy I had asked, didn't hear yet. Read it is 30 day but then how to ship would be expensive! The fancy light has short life span and not replaceable- not see that on site, it should be up front in the site!

Pump failed, screen failed right out of the box
I purchased this 2/24/21. Came in a coffin size box, took an hour to assemble. First, the pump didn't work. Aerogarden doesn't have a customer service phone number, so you'll have to email or wait for chat hours. After a week of emails requiring detailed info from me about this, Aerogarden agreed to replace the pump. It's March 18 and I'm still waiting on that. Week two, the touchscreen failed. I've received detailed emailed instructions on how I am to remove that and return it for a replacement too. I'll be doing these repairs myself and growing nothing in the meanwhile.
I have a Harvest model I like, but I'll not buy Aero again. When multiple parts on a $400 garden failed right out of the box, a supervisor should have been on the phone with me working out a reasonable solution, rather than putting the burden of repairs and proof of failure on me.

Summer in the fall
I received this awesome garden 12 xl and I put it together easy assembly.ive got my first set of veggies in sprouting.this is just the best thing to have in the house grow fresh vegetables all year long.i highly recommend this to anyone else.if you don't have a garden this aero garden 12xl is a must.this is one of the best I have ever had.i give this little garden a ten.this saves money and you got fresh vegetables all year long.this is summer in the fall.thank you for one of the best products to keep the whole family happy.. highly recommend you try this one.its awesome.

Can you grow tomatoes and cucumbers together on the 12XL? Do you have to hand pollinate the flowers?
You can grow tomatoes and cucumbers together in the Farm 12XL. We recommend planting no more than 3 large plants like veggies in a 12 pod garden. Tomatoes will need to be hand pollinated. Our variety of cucumbers are self pollinating.

Do you have cilantro pods?
As part of our ongoing promise to always provide our consumers with the best growing experience possible, we made the decision to discontinue our cilantro seed pods. Cilantro is happiest germinating in cooler temperatures (below 70 degrees Fahrenheit); because homes are often kept warmer than this, we cannot guarantee a consistently good growing experience with this variety.

I have the aerogarden Farm which stands 36" tall. It is great! I want to move it to another room, do I have to take it apart in order to move it?
You can move your Aerogarden Farm to a different room without taking it apart, though you may want to drain the water bowls to make it easier to move.
