How do AeroGardens work?
AeroGardens are designed to help you grow your own herbs, vegetables, salad greens or flowers at home. Our Seed Pod Kits are compatible with every model of AeroGarden. Planting with Seed Pods is fun and easy! Just insert the pre-seeded pods in your garden, add water, and the patented, specially formulated Liquid Nutrients. Most plants germinate within 7-14 days, are ready for harvesting in 4-6 weeks, and will keep producing continuous harvests for up to 6 months and longer. Indoor gardening can’t get any tastier or simpler!
How long do seed pods last?
Each of our Seed Pod Kits are tested for germination and expire one year after that date. To give you seeds the best chance to germinate, we recommend storing extra kits in a dark, cool, dry place. This will keep them cool and the seeds dormant until you’re ready to plant them in your AeroGarden. Some people store them in the vegetable drawer of their refrigerator in an airtight container or bag.
How do I prune Tomatoes/Peppers?
Fruiting vegetables, like tomatoes, peppers, and Fairy Tale eggplants, do require a little more attention and care than herbs, flowers, and salads.
What is the trellis for?
The trellis is an accessory that helps support medium and tall plants, such as tomatoes, peppers, and eggplant. Help your plants grow taller by supporting them before they develop heavy fruit. We have trellis systems available for Bounty and Farm models. For smaller gardens, like the Sprout and Harvest, try bamboo sticks, chopsticks or our Soft Ties to support your plants. Stick them down inside the grow pods next to the stem. Plants will grow up leaning into them or you can tie gently to the support. Early support can keep plants from collapsing under the weight of the fruit (tragic if it happens just before harvest).

Improved trellis system with elastic cords
This new trellis system with elastic cords rather than metal wires is easier to use. One of the original trellis metal wires that came with our Farm model was too short and kept popping off. The clips are easier to attach to the base and hold more solidly. The elastic cross-wires are also easier to attach.

Pain to put on farm
One of these trellises came with my farm and I ordered 2 more. Considering the aggravation of putting them on I believe I would have need better off buying a ball of string and making my own trellis. I had to tie on all of my long pieces on or they popped off when I put on the cross pieces. One of the cross pieces came broken on one end and another one broke when I put it on. I really hope one of my puppies don't find that spring before I do. I would think AeroGarden would take more pride in their products and make sure they work the way they should.

Need to Correct Bad Reviews
Most of the bad reviews say these are so tight that they break. When I tried installing, I had the same problem until I realized the issue. Both the front wire and the back wire should be installed on the front side of the bars as shown in the 1st product picture. If you install the the back wire on the back of the bars then the cross wires will be extremely tight. I wish there were more cross wires since there can be up to 6 larger plants growing at a time. Otherwise no problems.

Trellis does not fit all AeroGarden Farm Models
We have the Farm Plus. I broke the trellis cord trying to fit the short trellis core across the areogarden. I thought it was me, I ordered a replacement trellis and the same issue. The wires for the short trellis cord is to short and does not even reach the other side. On the website it states that the trellis is for all Farm models. Not true. I would like one that actually works.

Plants grow so well they need suipport.
We have three Farm plus or Farm XL units and the plants grow so well that they need extra support. They are easy to adjust, strong enough to guide our biggest plants. We bought some extra Trellis Systems so we could really customize each Farm unit.

Breaks very easily and frequently
Including us, both the large and small cords break free from their ends very easily, and it seems like a lot of buyers have this problem. Is there a version 2 of this product because v1 is obviously flawed, especially for how expensive it is. Obviously we can put together our own solution with some string and maybe some clamps, but this accessory is definitely a big turn-off for purchasing more AeroGarden products in the future.

Easy to Manage
I have the Farm XL. It makes it easier to manage the larger plants. It was very easy to setup and move as the plants got bigger and needed support. It did create a challenge when the plants were different sizes and I needed more than one trellis to accommodate both plants.

Complete Waste Of Money
It put it up and every single time I try to move it even a millimeter it pops off. Honestly it was a complete waste of $20 and I bought two so I wasted $40. Don’t buy these. They seem like a great idea but then don’t work properly and are completely useless.

Tamed my tomatoes!
This trellis system is great. I don't actually use it as is suggested. Instead I use the long wires to support my tomatoes by wrapping around the plant and the magnets snap onto the frame. I have two trellis systems and will order another. So far love them.

It broke!
I recently purchased a Farm Plus, which came with this trellis system. As I was putting it on, one of the cables broke. All I did was place the magnetic part onto the support column and the wire just fell out. I'm so disappointed.

Underwhelming in every way
Unfortunately, this is one of the poorest designed/executed parts AG offers.
My first and biggest gripe, is that it comes apart *so easily*. The wires going into the magnets, so far as I can tell, are only held in place by a dab of glue? I have four sets between a Farm and a FarmXL, and *three* of the endcaps have come off. 3 out of 8 tells me this is a serious issue, especially given that one of those sets is still in the box.
In correlation to the above, they are designed for the magnets to be on the 'inside' of the uprights. Although given the above, I don't dare let there be any actual tension on them, if the ends were affixed better, it would make much more sense for them to attach on the *outside* of the uprights, and would thus be considerably stronger, as the magnets would effectively only be needed for 'up and down' motion. All this would take, aside from fixing the first problem, would be to make the cross braces like half an inch longer.
Also, having only three cross-pieces per trellis is an odd choice. Either 4 (to 'box' each grow deck) or 5 (enough to go on the outsides and in between each set of 2 plants when doing a 'large' plant set of 4 in each bay) would make a lot more sense. At least so many of the ends breaking means I have plenty of extra cross-braces available, so small favors I guess?

Complete garbage
I spent close to $1000 on a 24xl and the trellis snaps. Bought another from Amazon and... snapped. Not really shocking in today's climate. You'd think a company would spend the money to make quality parts.... those days are gone. Cheap plastic that snapped when I tried to even get it apart to fix it.

Needs work
The long cables work fine and the magnetic mount clamp is very creative. However, the short cables are too short. The attaching mechanism on these cross cables work great, but when I attached the second clamp, the magnetic mount on the long cables come off.

Any Ideas!!
The trellis system doesn't stay on bars, magnets are too weak. Mine has collapsed and damaged the tomatoes 2x. Any DIY ideas...string and duct tape may be a better solution than this trellis.
