AeroGardens are designed to help you grow your own herbs, vegetables, salad greens or flowers at home. Our Seed Pod Kits are compatible with every model of AeroGarden. Planting with Seed Pods is fun and easy! Just insert the pre-seeded pods in your garden, add water, and the patented, specially formulated Liquid Nutrients. Most plants germinate within 7-14 days, are ready for harvesting in 4-6 weeks, and will keep producing continuous harvests for up to 6 months and longer. Indoor gardening can’t get any tastier or simpler!
Lettuce is one of the fastest-growing indoor crops and it's a staple. Who doesn't love to be healthy with delicious home-grown lettuce, or add a fresh leaf of romaine on their sandwich, or a salad of tasty arugula? And with AeroGarden, you can enjoy delicious Spring greens all throughout fall and winter! As a general rule, never prune more than ⅓ of any plant at once.
Different types of plants take different amounts of time to germinate and grow. In general, we’ve found these germination timeframes to be consistent:
Flowers take about 7-12 days
Salads: 5-8 days
Herbs: 5-15 days
Fruiting vegetables (such as tomatoes and peppers): 7-14 days
If any of your seed pods don’t germinate after 21 days, contact us so we can send out a replacement for you under our 100% germination guarantee.
After each planting, we recommend cleaning and sanitizing your AeroGarden for the best results.

AeroGarden MicroGreens Kit For Harvest Gardens
I have a AeroGarden Harvest System which I have used many times. I got the AeroGarden MicroGreens Kit for my harvest garden and it worked very well with my AeroGarden Kit. It has the irrigation deck, 2 MicroGreens trays, a 4 pack of AeroFelt Media, 2 domes, and the SuperFood MicroGreens Kit. Everything you need to grow your own MicroGreens. It was very easy to do. Not hard at all. It really doesn't take long for your MicroGreens to sprout and start growing. The MicroGreens ate very good for you and is good for my health. I have nothing negative to say about this product and I would highly recommend it. I will be getting more of these MicroGreens kits in the future.

Love MicroGreens
This is a great addition to my beloved AeroGarden. This kit includes a tray, irrigation deck, aero felt, domes and a large packet of seeds. You place 2 tsp of seeds per each tray side on the felt. The seeds in my kit, the micro greens super food mix includes broccoli, purple kohirabi, arugula, Tokyo bekana Chinese cabbage, red cabbage and red Russian kale. The seeds are all mixed together so you don't know exactly what is growing until it sprouts. My family loves growing our own food and the kids love making sure the water and plant food levels are good daily. Healthy food for your smoothies and meals at your fingertips!

Love!
I absolutely love my aerogarden. We have the counter top one for herbs and the farm one for lettuce, tomatoes, etc. I have no green thumb and no patience to deal with the heat and the bugs that an outdoor garden would entail. Aerogarden really is gardening for dummies...my app tells me when I need to add water or a couple of capfuls of nutrients and then I sit back and delight at watching my garden grow! And the microgreens kit is amazing! You use it on top of the herb garden as an attachment and in no time at all (like just a couple of days) you have fresh microgreens to trim and add to salads, cooking, etc. A must have device:)

This thing is SO COOL.
Growing things is pretty easy in an AeroGarden anyway, but the micro greens really are something else. Basically you plop the MicroGreens deck onto your Garden, put the grow media mats down, spread out the appropriate amount of seeds, cover the trays with their respective lids, and leave them be! They start to sprout right away (like 2-3 days) and then they just shoot up after that! Granted, you can only use the mats once since the roots grow into them, but honestly it's a super easy process and you've got greens that are good to harvest for several days. I can't wait to try some of the other varieties!

Great way to have success at microgreens!
Finally success at microgreens! I have tried sprouting trays that I had to rinse twice a day, special trays with a mat that I had to spray and rinse twice a day, and always failed (mold, wilting, drying out, inconsistent growth, etc.). Not to mention that the microgreens did not smell very nice after a couple of days. This system is great - it keeps the greens watered, and the water moves, and no smell at all (other than the plants themselves). So happy to now be able to enjoy the benefits of microgreens! (Now if only there was a Farm XL sized one for an entire tray of wheatgrass!)

Amazing Results
I have used the AeroGarden for about a year to grow herbs and start other plants for a potted garden and have always had great results. The MicroGreens insert wasn't an amazing addition to my indoor gardening. The process is so easy and the results are fantastic. I recieved several pads and seeds along with the tray, allowing me to grow the MicroGreens a few times with the one kit. The seeds sprouted with in a couple of days and grew rapidly allowing me to harvest and use the greens within just a few short weeks. Amazing product and results, I highly recommend.

Easy to use
I've grown hydroponic microgreens for a while now and this method is much easier than the traditional way. They pretty much hands free once you set them up. It would be great if they could figure out a way to grow microgreens traditionally grown in dirt, like sunflower. Lids to microgreen sections are NOT dishwasher safe and I ruined my first kit the first time I used it. They need to sell them separate because I'm sure I'm not the only one. I didn't see a warning in the instructions.
Luckily I ordered two at the beginning so am still growing. There were no reviews posted on the site at the time I purchased. It would be nice to see AeroGarden offer other microgreen seeds besides the spicy mix and supergreens.

Great Kit!
This is a nice kit for use with Aerogardens. It comes with pretty much everything you need to grow the microgreens including a large pack of Microgreen seeds, an irrigation deck, 2 microgreen trays, aerofelt media (for germinating the seeds), and 2 domes to cover the trays. I love how easy these are to setup and use, really nothing to it. The microgreens were awesome and I was able to pick them in just a few days after starting the seeds, great in a fresh salad! I have 2 Aerogardens in my house and these worked great with my AeroGarden Harvest model, perfect fit and was able to pretty much just drop in the pods and get going. My second older aerogarden though has a little different shape, so the pods didn't fit exactly right. Really great kit, just check compatibility first!

How do you use the MicroGreen seeds
The Harvest Microgreen kit will contain: Irrigation Deck, 2 (Two) MicroGreens Trays, 2 (Two) MicroGreens Tray Domes, 4 (Four) pieces of compostable AeroFelt Grow Media
and 1 (One) 4oz pack of your choice of seeds. Each side of the MicroGreens tray can be started independently, allowing you to have different types of seeds in each and to have each side at a different stage of growth. You can start the sides a few days apart to allow for a longer harvesting period - when one side is ready to harvest, the other side will be sprouting. Put the felt into the Microgreens tray and add the dome on top. The blue Grow Domes help your MicroGreens stretch. The blue color blocks just a little bit of the light from the LED lights to encourage the MicroGreens sprouts to stretch to reach the light. Keep the blue Grow Domes on the MicroGreens tray deck until the seedlings start touching the domes. You can add a little bit of our Liquid Plant Food to the water when growing MicroGreens. We’ve found that adding ¼ capful (or 2 mL) to the water helps balance the pH in the water, contributing to healthy, greener MicroGreens.

What country are the microgreen seeds from?
Thank you for your interest in our products! Our seeds are sourced from large and small vendors from around the world. Many are heirloom seeds, organic sources are chosen when available, and GMO seeds are never used. Each microgreens seed packet contains a different mix of seeds, and there will be a germination label on each pouch with the specific country of origin.

The harvest micro greens kit comes with four pads called AeroFelt media. Am I supposed to use two on each side or one on each side and save two for the next time and use one on each side? It is unclear in the directions.
Each AeroGarden Harvest Microgreens Kit comes with enough felt pads and seed for 2 plantings. Once all the microgreens are harvested, toss the used felt pads and replace with new ones and new seed.
