The Sweet Bell Peppers Seed Pod Kit for TALL AeroGardens (see included gardens below*) comes with everything you'll need to grow these fresh peppers and we've carefully selected varieties proven to produce. AeroGardens are designed to help you grow your own herbs, vegetables, salad greens or flowers at home. Our Seed Pod Kits are compatible with every model of AeroGarden. Planting with Seed Pods is fun and easy! Just insert the pre-seeded pods in your garden, add water, and the patented, specially formulated Liquid Nutrients. Most plants germinate within 7-14 days, are ready for harvesting in 4-6 weeks, and will keep producing continuous harvests for up to 6 months and longer. Indoor gardening can’t get any tastier or simpler!
Each of our Seed Pod Kits are tested for germination and expire one year after that date. To give you seeds the best chance to germinate, we recommend storing extra kits in a dark, cool, dry place. This will keep them cool and the seeds dormant until you’re ready to plant them in your AeroGarden. Some people store them in the vegetable drawer of their refrigerator in an airtight container or bag.
Fruiting vegetables, like tomatoes, peppers, and Fairy Tale eggplants, do require a little more attention and care than herbs, flowers, and salads.
The trellis is an accessory that helps support medium and tall plants, such as tomatoes, peppers, and eggplant. Help your plants grow taller by supporting them before they develop heavy fruit. We have trellis systems available for Bounty and Farm models. For smaller gardens, like the Sprout and Harvest, try bamboo sticks, chopsticks or our Soft Ties to support your plants. Stick them down inside the grow pods next to the stem. Plants will grow up leaning into them or you can tie gently to the support. Early support can keep plants from collapsing under the weight of the fruit (tragic if it happens just before harvest).

Amazing!
They have grown vigorously since I put the pods in the garden. It’s day 67 & I have 2 in long peppers all over my 2 plants!
One of the 3 pods I ordered did not germinate & AG shipping another one right out to me! Thank you AG!

Don’t recommend - peppers are small and stunted
I have been growing these peppers for 24 weeks and each batch has been small or stunted and never get bigger. I followed the directions and catered to them. They also are the only planted thing so it’s not sharing nutrients. I’m not sure if new seeds may help but I don’t recommend based on this experience.

So far so good...
I planted this kit two weeks ago in my Aerogarden Elite. All pods germinated promptly, with three plants sprouting from each pod. I clipped two of the sprouts, leaving the strongest plant in each pod. Each plant is now about an inch tall and real leaves are developing. I have not grown peppers in an aerogarden before and am looking forward to seeing how these develop.

Stunted Peppers
My peppers have been growing for 130 days and all have been very small/stunted. I've been following directions and don't understand why the peppers never get bigger than the ones pictured. It's also worth noting that I only grew the one plant so all of the nutrients are going to the one plant. I'll try them again, but this is definitely disappointing compared to the photos advertised.

How big should the bell peppers get and when should I harvest. One has turned red
The peppers start green with a slightly bitter flavor, then as it matures, it turns bright red and becomes sweeter. Peppers can be harvested around 9-12 weeks after planting.
