The AeroGarden Farm Stacking System is a must-have for stacking your Farm 12 or Farm 24 model, including the Farm, Farm Plus or Farm XL. The kit allows you to create a beautiful living wall. Upward and onward! This accessory allows you to grow vertically, safely. Brackets securely attach to the wall to ensure that your gardens are stable and will stay in place. This stacking kit comes in black or white to attractively attach two AeroGarden Farm models vertically. Create your own vertical garden stack or chain of lush, full gardens that become the centerpiece of a room.
The trellis is an accessory that helps support medium and tall plants, such as tomatoes, peppers, and eggplant. Help your plants grow taller by supporting them before they develop heavy fruit. We have trellis systems available for Bounty and Farm models. For smaller gardens, like the Sprout and Harvest, try bamboo sticks, chopsticks or our Soft Ties to support your plants. Stick them down inside the grow pods next to the stem. Plants will grow up leaning into them or you can tie gently to the support. Early support can keep plants from collapsing under the weight of the fruit (tragic if it happens just before harvest).
Fruiting vegetables, like tomatoes, peppers, and Fairy Tale eggplants, do require a little more attention and care than herbs, flowers, and salads.
Yes, AeroGarden plants can be transplanted into soil.

Farm system is great — stacking system is NOT!
I loved my first Farm system I ordered a second to stack on top for double the yield. The second Farm arrived promptly in excellent condition as did the additional stacking system necessary to stack the one Farm above the other — a very efficient use of overall space. The stacking system was mostly poorly made plastic that did not fit the bottom or top Farm systems well enough to connect the two Farms together at all. The top Farm was lopsided so the water in the reservoirs did not reach all root systems evenly requiring me to rotate plants often which I shouldn’t have to do.
I am disappointed with the poor “engineering” of the stacking system but have no available floor space for the second farm system so I hope rotating the plants will work — only time will tell.

Farm Stacking System Bracket Connection
The mounting brackets that go between the 2 systems is very loose. The screws don't really connect into anything, however the overall bracket holds the 2 units together very well. Just wasnt clear to me the purpose of the brackets if the bracket is loose between the 2 systems. Contacted customer support and really didn't get much help except they said it should be fine.

Help optimize space!
I'm living in a small condo and I have 3 aerogarden at home (2 Farm XL & 1 Harvest Elite). This gadget allows me to stack my 2 Farm XL on top of eachother which is great and super practical! The only thing, is to consider buying a small ladder to be able to refill water and have access to the screen of the top unit. I strongly recommend.

Cheap hardware difficult to use
It was difficult to get the two systems screwed together. Also, the brackets and hardware for attaching to the wall were of cheap quality. One screw broke and the magnetic tip of my screwdriver was literally full of metal shavings .

It works...sort of.
Screw holes are super tight and after you get the clamp on it's really loose. They include a weird adhesive strip that does nothing. I ended up using a power drill with a hex bit to get the screws in and I put window seal foam strip between the clamp and the frame to eliminate the wiggle.

Questions
After stacking the farm gardens together, does the lights get hot and cook the roots of the plants stacked on top of it?
Your stacked Farm gardens will not get hot enough to cause any issues with the plants in the above garden.

Can I stack my farm 12 on my farm xl?
Please give us a call with the model numbers of both gardens, so we can provide you with accurate information. The model number is on the white sticker located on the underside of the hood above the right LED panel. When will the black stacking system be available? Can't set up Farm 24 systems I bought in November 2023 Black Friday. SUPER disappointed.
