How do AeroGardens work?
AeroGardens are designed to help you grow your own herbs, vegetables, salad greens or flowers at home. Our Seed Pod Kits are compatible with every model of AeroGarden. Planting with Seed Pods is fun and easy! Just insert the pre-seeded pods in your garden, add water, and the patented, specially formulated Liquid Nutrients. Most plants germinate within 7-14 days, are ready for harvesting in 4-6 weeks, and will keep producing continuous harvests for up to 6 months and longer. Indoor gardening can’t get any tastier or simpler!
How do I prune Herbs?
Pruning your herbs is important to keep them growing and healthy in your AeroGarden. You can start pruning when the plants are about 2 inches tall. We recommend only pruning about ⅓ of the plant at a time. When growing herbs, keep in mind basil usually sprouts within a week of planting, and grows rapidly. Be sure to prune your basil from the top as needed to keep the grow lights at the lowest position until all the herbs have a chance to catch up. Raising the grow light to accommodate the basil can slow or stop growth for other smaller, slower-growing herbs.
Can I grow different types of plants at the same time?
Yes, you can mix different types of plants in your AeroGarden to grow a variety of herbs, salad, veggies, and flowers if you’d like. If you are growing different plant types, it is important to prune the taller and bushier plants as they grow to allow plenty of space and light for the shorter and smaller plants
How do I clean my AeroGarden before starting a new garden?

I'm excited to see my herbs
I received this product in exchange for an unbiased review. On average it takes 5 to 7 days for the herbs to bud, I received this product 6 days ago and hope to see buds soon. This was very easy to put together and get started. My only concern is the potential impact on your utility bill because the light is plugged up and running for 17 hours a day foe the germination period. However if it results in fresh herbs it may be worth it.

Great first indoor gardening experience!
This was my first Aerogarden, and it got me hooked. I decided I wanted to try one for winter, so my husband got it for me for my birthday last month with the heirloom cherry tomato seed kit. My first green tomato just showed up today. Setup was very straightforward, and I liked being able to set what time the lights come on in the menu. The lights are bright at first, but it's much less intense once your plants are growing. The round shape fits nicely in the corner of my kitchen counter, and I like how the stainless finish matches my other kitchen appliances. It's very easy to use, and I definitely recommend the Elite version if you really want something foolproof, because it tells you when to add food and tracks how many days your garden has been growing. I like it so much I already bought 3 more small Aerogardens.

Just awesome!
This is probably the closest thing I’ve ever seen. Very easy to set up. Have had it out for a few days and already seeing sprouts. I’ve enjoyed seeing it grow. The only downside is the light is really bright. So make sure you have it in a place that you don’t mind it being bright.

Amazing indoor garden!
This is my first indoor garden system and so far it's amazing! Love that you can do herbs and veggies. You can plant up to 6. LED lights are so cool. Also has a reminder when you need to add more water. Control panel is super easy to use. Overall it's a great product!!

When I first ordered, the seed pods and food were missing from my order. Once I received that (after multiple emails) I set the garden up and within minutes it stopped working. I would not purchase this item again.

AeroGarden Harvest Elite 360
I purchased this garden to grow the cascading petunias. I popped 2 pods in, covered the unused holes with golf balls, and was quickly amazed by how quickly my petunias grow. I'm about 3 months in now and they are absolutely beautiful in this garden. Care is easy. I simply pop off the cover daily to top off the water. Every 2 weeks I add the AeroGarden nutrients. And every 4 weeks, I do a complete water change. I am excited to see how long I can get these petunias to keep providing their amazing beauty. Before discovering AeroGarden, I never realized indoor gardens were so readily available, inexpensive to purchase, and so easy to maintain. I am a huge fan of AeroGardens and have been purchasing additional Harvests and Sprouts to add to my collection.

Amazing and fun to boot!
I was given this at Christmas and finally decided to plant it 11 days ago. I’m so glad I did and not sure why I waited so long. It took five minutes to set up and it was so easy. Plus all of my herbs are sprouting and it’s so much fun to watch them grow! My 12-year-old son is enjoying it, too!

Arrived Broken.
Received this as a Mother's Day gift from my son. Arrived in broken box. Tried to get it to work anyways but the light doesn't work. Have emailed Aerogarden not once but twice to help with this but still have received no response. So disappointed that no one will offer any help.

So far, great!
I received this as a gift and I was a bit skeptical because I have a small kitchen. It fits great in the corner, my lettuce is growing wonderfully, and even the one seed pod that I thought was a dud and didn’t do anything for almost 4 weeks is now producing too. Although I am unable to get a whole salad from a harvest, because I eat very large salads, I love to harvest a few days a week when my four-year-old granddaughter is over and she loves it. When she’s not here I just add to my regular salad. It took a bit of trial and error to understand the program, but it actually is very simple.

Great purchase!
I have never grown herbs at home. Aerogarden has made it possible. I am very happy with my purchase. Last week used my home grown Basil in my curry..delicious and fresh. Instructions are very neat and easy to follow as well. I am just not sure if i want to plant my own seeds in this pod, how exactly it needs to be done. But rest is all awesome.

Counter-top Gardening and Garden Prep!
I love both of my AeroGardens and I've taken advantage of getting lots of starts to move out into my yard as the weather has warmed up. It's lovely watching tomatoes, a variety of lettuce and herbs spring up and grow on my counter top, and I look forward to keeping up my indoor harvest between the indoor AeroGardens and my little greenhouse out back next winter. My only complaint is that the root systems tend to gum up the works a bit if I let the plants grow too big before replanting them, but properly cleaning things out seems to keep the units operating properly.

Fresh Salad in the winter!
I treated myself to this unit and I love everything about it. I have the mixed lettuce pods growing now and the plants grow so fast and it is a perfect mix for my tastes. I love having it fresh on my counter every day. The attached photo is after 2 cuttings and they just keep on coming.

So much fun and delicious!
I bought my aero garden in December 2022 and planted 6 lettuce pods January 1st 2023. I have really enjoyed watching the plants sprout and grow! I’ve plucked quite a bit of leaves to make salad. I can’t wait to order the next size up to plant tomatoes!

Extremely disappointed
I bought this and set it up per the instructions. Only 2 out of the 6 plants actually sprouted and are growing. The other 4 either didn’t sprout or wilted and died the second they came up. I haven’t received much support from customer service

Thanks for letting me try this product baazarvoice. I absolutely love harvest elite 360 gormuet herb seed kit. First off i love the sleek look of the light itself. I have it in my living room and fits in perfect as a decor. The light is great also. Nice a bright but not overwhelming. You can use this as your lamp. The pods are easy to put in. Everything is easy to assemble. My herbs are growing perfect and I just used some for one of my dishes.

I guess it can work for some people
I decided to purchase the AeroGarden because I was spending too much money on buying Basil and Mint to my noon shakes about $8 a week. I also wanted to start an indoor garden. So I thought investing in an AeroGarden would be good. I received Dill, Mint, Thyme, Curley Parsley, Thai Basil and another Basil. I have had it hooked up for 51 days. They all grew but except for the Dill, everything else is so small and took forever to grow. Even the Dill doesn't grow that much. Basically, I am figuring that it is only good if you want a couple of springs of an herb to eat or use as a garnish. Or you have to buy a few of these and just grow a bunch of the same herb in one, which would require a large investment at least for me.

Nice, but no tomato production yet.
I set up my AeroGarden on November 22, 2021 and only planted 3 of the 6 tomato pods at that time. Even though the plants appear to be doing great (I have had to trim them back several times because even though the light is extended to it's full height, they have grown above the light), they still have not produced any tomatos. But I haven't given up hope just yet.
I think I will probably order the flower pods next and give them a try. Although they won't produce any etibles, they will hopefully grace my counter with some beauty and also halp clean the air.

I love my Lettuce in my Harvest Elite 360
My lettuce is growing in my Harvest Elite 360. Its been 3 weeks and my 6 pods of heirloom lettuce are growing strong and are 5 inches high already. I have it on my countertop so I can see it and check it easily everyday.

A good product and a good company to deal with
We bought 2 of the AeroGarden Harvest Elite 360 as Christmas gifts. One we delivered and our daughter absolutely LOVES it. She said the set-up was easy, the salad greens are delicious and she had to deal with customer service once for 2 pods that did not germinate. The company response was pleasant and very quick to replace the 2 pods. The other gift, sadly, we still have as our family Christmas was cancelled due to Covid-19. Again, customer service was quick to assure me that it would still be good next Christmas so we are going to save it for then!

Stopped working.
I had hoped to purchase a farm version as I currently have a harvest elite a bounty basic and two two harvest elite 360. I purchased three at another retailer and one from this website. I ordered them in April but planned ro move out of state so didn’t want ro start them until I moved. Long story short I planted them about two months ago. Aside from some of the seeds not sprouting they Worked fine at first. Now one of the elite 360’s stopped working. Such a disappointment and a waste of money. Hope I have better luck with the ones I have left.

Great design
I am really happy with the product, the design is what made me decide on this model. It would have been helpful to have a clearer description of the differences between the models as it is not possible to set the lighting schedule remotely. I didn’t realize this and it is a feature I would have liked. Just planted my first crop of lettuces - excited to watch them grow.

Which one is best for growing the cherry tomatoes?
All larger models, such as the Aerogarden Harvest Elite 360, are well suited for our cherry tomatoes. The key is growing in a Garden that can support the height of the tomato plant, such as the Bounty and Farm models or the Harvest XL model.
