Sorrell - what the heck is it?

You are unlikely ever to find sorrell in your grocery store - it's shelf life is too short for commercialization. And that's too bad, because it's bright, lemony flavor scores a big hit. The good news: as an AeroGardener you can grow your own! Besides its role as a salad green, sorrell doubles as an herb - it  gives  vegetable soups a tangy flavor, and dissolved  in a skillet with butter and cream it melts into a delightful sauce for fish or eggs. Come Spring, you can plant AeroGarden sorrell  outside for bigger harvests, and it will come back year after year.
